First released in 2013, Kobayakawa is a legendary, fast-paced card game of psychology and risk. Now, this new and improved 2025 edition brings the game back to the tabletop with upgraded components and brand-new mechanics inspired by the hit video game, Let's Play! Oink Games.

The Core Game: Bet on the Highest Card

In Kobayakawa, players compete over 5 quick rounds by betting chips on the strength of the number written on the card in their hand. If you have the highest number, you win the pot!

However, you must always watch out for the tricky "Kobayakawa" card sitting in the middle of the table. The number on the Kobayakawa is added to the lowest card's value during the reveal. This means whoever is holding the card with the highest number is never guaranteed to win!

What is new in the 2025 Edition?

In the original rules, only players who actively entered the battle could bet chips. In this brand-new edition, the excitement continues even if you fold!

• Predict the Winner: If two or more players enter the battle, any players who retreated must now predict who they think will win the round.

• Place Your Bets: Retreating players place 1 to 3 chips on the newly added "Player Markers" and put it in front of their chosen champion. As long as you have at least one chip, you must make a prediction.

• Double Your Money: If your prediction is correct, you get back double the number of chips that you bet!

After playing 5 rounds, the player who has earned the most chips is crowned the victor. Enjoy this even more exciting, unpredictable edition of a beloved classic!
