When the Queen holds her banquet, skullduggery is on the menu!

You have been summoned by the Royal House for the Queen's Yearly Banquet. But this is no mere dinner party. In Courtisans, every card you play is a calculated move to sway the influence of the realm's six great families: the Stag, Toad, Butterfly, Carp, Nightingale, and Hare.

How to Play

On every turn, you hold the fate of three courtiers in your hand. You must choose wisely where to place them:

• At the Queen's Table: Sway a family's status to "Esteemed" or "Fallen from Grace".
• In Your Domain: Collect courtiers to earn points—but only if their family remains in the Queen's favour.
• In an Opponent's Domain: Saddle your rivals with courtiers from families destined for disgrace.

Master the Special Roles

The court is filled with more than just socialites. Use specialists to tip the scales in your favor:

• Nobles: Worth double points at the end of the game.
• Spies: Played face-down to keep your true intentions hidden.
• Assassins: Eliminate rival courtiers from the board entirely.
• Guards: Stalwart protectors who are immune to assassination.

With secret missions to fulfill and ever-shifting alliances, Courtisans is a fast-paced, 20-minute game of tactical card placement where the last card played can change everything.
