Embark on an epic journey across the Mediterranean! In this strategic drafting and set-collection game, your goal is to help the legendary hero Ulysses succeed in the 15 major stages of his long voyage home. Gather your strength, outsmart mythical creatures, and win the favor of the gods to score the most victory points!

Gameplay Overview

Players take turns drafting Trial cards from the lines positioned alongside Ulysses' Ship in the center of the table. Each Trial will challenge you to build up four specific skills: Strength, Intelligence, Cunning, and Luck. On your turn, you must decide how to use your drafted card: will you "Depart on an Adventure" to increase the specific skill shown on the card, or will you choose to "Rest" to increase any skill of your choice and gain a powerful Athena's Favor token?

At the end of the game, you will only score points for your Trial cards if your final skill values meet or exceed the difficulty level of those trials!

Key Features:

• Tactical Card Drafting: Carefully choose which Trial cards to pull from the ship. Drafting a card next to a facedown card reveals new options and instantly rewards you with an Athena's Favor token.
• Engine & Skill Building: Manage the placement of Trial cards on your personal Tales board, maximizing your skill tracks to ensure you can pass your trials at the end of the game.
• Divine Assistance: Spend Athena's Favor tokens for ultimate flexibility. Use them to alter which skills you increase during an adventure, or trade them in to purchase valuable Tale tiles.
• Tales and Epics: Complete a row of all four skills to gather Tale tiles, or collect one of each of the 5 trial types (Navigation, Encounters, Gods, Creatures, and Ithaca) to claim a massive Epic tile bonus!
• Solo Mode Included: Test your wits against an automated opponent (the Automa) with four adjustable difficulty levels.
