MEDIEVALLONS: Seize the Capital & Claim the Crown!

The beloved monarch has perished, leaving a gaping power vacuum in its wake. The capital of Medievallons lies ripe for the taking, and you are ready to fill the void. But beware—your rivals are just as hungry for glory as you are.

In Medievallons, two to five players engage in a fast-paced, cutthroat battle of wits. Your objective is simple yet perilous: be the first player to establish three guilds within the capital and instantly claim the throne! However, building your network requires more than just luck; it demands cunning strategy, ruthless opportunism, and the wisdom to wield unique powers against unsuspecting foes.

⚔️ THE GAMEPLAY LOOP

Every turn is a high-stakes gamble between expanding your empire and sabotaging your enemies. You play cards from your hand to create or extend your own guilds on the board, but each card also grants you a devastating ability to disrupt your rivals’ progress.

  • Command Tribute (Knight): Choose an opponent and name a specific card type. They must surrender a matching card from their hand to you immediately!
  • Eliminate Rivals (Assassin): Target a card within an enemy guild on the table and cast it into the discard pile, weakening their hold on the capital.
  • Plunder & Swap (Beggar & Merchant): Strip your wealthiest rival by taking a random card from them, or force another player to swap two cards with you to steal their best assets.
  • Spy & Hijack (Priest & Witch): Peek into an opponent’s hand and exchange one of their cards for one of yours, or hijack the unique power of any guild currently in play!
  • The Ultimate Wildcard (Jester): Stuck? The Jester can be played with any type of card to create or extend a guild, keeping your options fluid.
  • Recruit & Steal (Monk & Ranger): Snatch a card directly from any guild on the table and add it back into your hand for future use.

👑 VICTORY CONDITION

Speed is survival! The game ends the exact moment you play your third guild card—you immediately win and rule Medievallons!

In tense two-player duels, the race to three guilds is heightened by the Cyclebreaker Card. If the draw pile is exhausted twice without a winner, the Cyclebreaker flips to its yellow side, instantly ending the game. The player with the most established guilds (and cards in hand as a tie-breaker) claims victory.
