Most board games promise that decisions have consequences. Mechs vs. Minions is the rare one where consequences have consequences, and that's the best part of the night.
You and up to three friends pilot the Yordles of Bandle City. Each round you draft commands, sequence them into a program, and watch your mechs execute exactly what you told them to do, onto a board that has already shifted underneath you. The first round goes roughly to plan. A few rounds in, someone is laughing. Then everyone is. You're not panicking; you're improvising together.
Ten missions plus a tutorial, roughly eleven to fifteen hours in total, sixty minutes a session. Drop in or out between missions; you don't need the same four people every week. It teaches in ten minutes, so it works on a Tuesday with your partner or your non-gamer brother as well as it does on a Saturday with your regular group.
No League of Legends knowledge required. Runeterra is the setting; the game stands on its own.
Out of print for five years. Back for its 10th anniversary.
Come for the plan. Stay for the punchline.
The Bandle City EditionÂ
It is the same game that has held a Top 100 spot on BoardGameGeek since 2016, rebuilt for the shelf you actually have.
It reaches the table in under fifteen minutes and goes away in five.
New art direction in the bright, magical Bandle City palette. Acrylic standees, integrated storage, and mission dossiers you open one at a time.
A smaller footprint and less plastic than the original, without cutting anything that matters at the table.

Mechs vs. Minions Unpainted Miniatures Set
The four Yordle mechs as sculpted miniatures, primed and ready for your brushes. Works with either edition of Mechs vs. Minionsâ„¢.
The Bandle City Edition puts the mechs on the table as acrylic standees. This set gives you the other option: Tristana, Corki, Heimerdinger, and Ziggs as the same sculpted miniatures found in the Classic Edition, delivered unpainted with a primer base coat so you can paint them your way.
Drop them straight into the Bandle City Edition in place of the standees, or paint a second set for your Classic Edition. Same scale, same bases, same game. Nothing else changes at the table. Not a painter yet? These are a good place to start. Four large, cleanly sculpted figures, plenty of flat surface, and a game that will put them to work the same night you finish. Requires a copy of Mechs vs. Minions (Classic Edition or Bandle City Edition) to play.

Mechs vs. Minions: Classic Edition
For years this was the game you couldn't find. Out of print since 2020, climbing on the secondhand market, passed around as the co-op campaign everyone had heard about and nobody could buy. The Classic Edition is that game.
Same ten-mission cooperative campaign. Same programming core. Same components that earned it cult status: hand-painted sculpted mechs, a hundred hand-washed minions, metal coins, a sand timer that actually runs.
Riot built the original like a love letter to the community, and this edition reproduces that build rather than reinterpreting it, with a few quiet quality improvements and two new additions: a solo puzzle pack and a set of skin cards.
